  • De marechaussee voert ceremoniële beveiligingstaken uit.
  • De marechaussee levert bijstand aan de Nationale Politie en zorgt, indien daartoe besloten wordt, voor grenscontroles aan de Schengengrenzen.

  • Royal Netherlands Air Force transport helicopters are on stand-by at Valkenburg airfield as well.
  • First-aid stations, ambulances and a helicopter stand ready for medical assistance and evacuation.
  • The Royal Netherlands Army has contributed a ground-based air defence system to assist in airspace monitoring.
  • The Royal Netherlands Army is assisting the national police by contributing to security and making communication assets available.
  • The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee is guarding and protecting the royal palaces and the official residence of the Dutch Prime Minister (Catshuis).
